How many letters can I have?
About 3–10 letters look best. Very short names get a slightly larger flourish; longer names are scaled to keep the nameplate balanced.

Is the flourish the same on every necklace?
No — our designers shape the sweep under each name to suit its letters and font, so each piece is unique.

What is gold vermeil, and is it better than gold-plated?
Gold vermeil is a thick layer of real 14K gold over solid 925 sterling silver. Gold-plated jewelry usually has a much thinner layer over brass or other base metals, so vermeil lasts longer and is kinder to sensitive skin.
