What is gold vermeil, and is it better than gold-plated?
Gold vermeil is a thick layer of real 14K gold over solid 925 sterling silver. Gold-plated jewelry usually has a much thinner layer over brass or other base metals, so vermeil lasts longer and is kinder to sensitive skin.

Will it tarnish?
Sterling silver and gold vermeil are made to last. Keep it away from perfume, chlorine and harsh chemicals, and store it dry to keep its shine.
