Can I wear it every day?
Yes — it's designed for it. The connected letters make the nameplate sturdy, and sterling silver and gold vermeil are made for daily wear. Just take it off before swimming, showering or the gym to keep the shine longer.

What does "connected script" mean?
All letters are joined in one continuous cursive line, cut from a single piece of metal, so the name reads smoothly and there are no fragile separate letters.

Which chain is best for everyday wear?
Box and Curb are the sturdiest, Figaro is a great all-rounder, Cable is the most delicate and Paperclip is the most modern. The price changes with the chain you choose.

Should I use a capital letter?
We recommend a capital first letter (for example, "Olivia") — the script is designed around it.

What is gold vermeil, and is it better than gold-plated?
Gold vermeil is a thick layer of real 14K gold over solid 925 sterling silver. Gold-plated jewelry usually has a much thinner layer over brass or other base metals, so vermeil lasts longer and is kinder to sensitive skin.

Will it tarnish?
Sterling silver and gold vermeil are made to last. Keep it away from perfume, chlorine and harsh chemicals and store it dry; a soft polishing cloth brings back the shine.
