Please copy them from a trusted source — we cut every stroke exactly as written. 2–3 characters give the best proportions.

Can I order Japanese kanji instead of Chinese?
Yes — Japanese kanji, traditional Chinese and simplified Chinese characters can all be made. Just tell us which one in the personalization box.

How many characters can I add?
Up to 4 characters. Most names are 2–3 characters, which gives the cleanest look.

Can you translate my English name into Chinese?
We cut the characters exactly as you provide them. Because Chinese names are chosen for meaning and sound, we recommend getting your characters from a native speaker or family member — a wrong stroke changes the meaning.

Will complex characters stay readable?
Yes — every stroke is connected inside the nameplate, so even detailed characters like 蓮 or 真 stay crisp and strong.

Will it arrive before Lunar New Year?
Allow 1–3 business days for production plus 2–5 business days of US shipping. Order at least 2 weeks before the holiday, or choose Express shipping.

What is gold vermeil, and is it better than gold-plated?
Gold vermeil is a thick layer of real 14K gold over solid 925 sterling silver. Gold-plated jewelry usually has a much thinner layer over brass or other base metals, so vermeil lasts longer and is kinder to sensitive skin.

Will it tarnish?
Sterling silver and gold vermeil are made to last. Keep it away from perfume, chlorine and harsh chemicals, take it off before swimming, and store it dry.
